The only way these get any better is by replacing the original blade with a Hock Tools O1 blade. For an additional cost I will fit a sharpened and honed Hock Tools O1 Blade.
Thicker casting, more metal, more soul. Look closely and you’ll see a large surface the blade is levered onto. This means no chatter.
Refined 50’s era Stanley 60 1/2, cut to 4 13/16” long
Bobbed and beveled
All edges broken
Blade reground to 25 degrees then sharpened with relieved corners. Totaling 4 3/8” long and 1 3/8” wide.
